Description: This research is part of a long-term project, the aim of which is to analyse European policies for innovation, focusing on active clusters in the field of biotechnology, a strategic sector for economic and social growth in Europe. The main aim of this research is to guide the discussion with reference to the situation in Piedmont, which has a growing interest in the development of research and innovation. This will identify possible lines of development of a new regional policy in areas of highly innovative sectors and enable a possible long-term collaboration between Piedmont and France.
